Production Process Of Fluoride Products

The production of basic industrial inorganic fluorides primarily uses acid-grade fluorite powder as the core raw material, employing a classic acidolysis reaction process for large-scale preparation. This is the foundational step in the entire fluorochemical industry chain. During production, high-purity fluorite powder is mixed with concentrated sulfuric acid in a specific ratio and fed into a rotary kiln for heating and reaction. Under controlled temperature and negative pressure, the raw materials react fully to generate crude hydrogen fluoride gas. The resulting crude gas undergoes dust removal, impurity removal, and washing purification, followed by condensation and distillation to obtain industrial-grade aqueous hydrofluoric acid and high-purity anhydrous hydrogen fluoride, respectively. Based on this, further neutralization, synthesis, and crystallization treatment with auxiliary materials such as aluminum hydroxide, soda ash, and potassium salts yields mainstream inorganic fluorides such as aluminum fluoride, cryolite, potassium fluoride, and fluorosilicates. The entire process is mature, stable, and has a large production capacity, suitable for the mass production needs of traditional industrial raw materials.

High-end organic fluorides are produced using monomer synthesis and polymerization modification processes. These processes require high precision and strict process control, and are mainly used in the preparation of fluoropolymers, fluororubbers, and advanced refrigerants. The production process begins with refined anhydrous hydrogen fluoride as the starting material. Basic fluorinated monomers such as tetrafluoroethylene and vinylidene fluoride are first prepared through a catalytic reaction. Then, relying on polymerization reactions under specific temperature, pressure, and initiator conditions, the monomers undergo polymerization to produce high-molecular-weight fluorinated materials such as polytetrafluoroethylene and polyvinylidene fluoride. For different applications of organic fluorine products, modification, copolymerization, and post-processing processes are also provided to precisely adjust the material's temperature resistance, flexibility, insulation, and other properties. The entire process utilizes a closed reaction system, strictly controlling impurity content and reaction parameters to ensure stable product performance and meet the material standards of high-end fields such as new energy, electronics, and precision manufacturing.

For refined, high-purity, and civilian-use fluorides, in addition to the basic synthesis process, deep purification, refining, and safety modification processes are added, emphasizing high purity, low impurities, and high safety. Industrial crude raw materials first undergo secondary filtration, precision distillation, and ion exchange to thoroughly remove harmful impurities such as heavy metals, sulfates, and suspended solids, improving the purity of the raw materials. For oral care, food-grade, and electronic-grade fluorides, we further employ low-temperature crystallization, aseptic filtration, and precise proportioning processes to strictly control fluoride ion content and pH levels, eliminating harmful residues. Simultaneously, the final stages of production include drying, sieving, and aseptic packaging processes, ensuring a clean production process throughout. This guarantees that the product's physicochemical properties meet standards, as well as satisfying civilian safety standards and the ultra-high purity requirements of high-end electronic materials. Furthermore, modern production processes include exhaust gas recovery and wastewater treatment, enabling the recycling of fluoride resources and reducing production losses and environmental impact.
