What Are The Safety Requirements For Transporting Fluorinated Products?

All solid fluorides must be packaged in sealed, moisture-proof bags or pressure-resistant drums with intact seals and no gaps to prevent leakage or breakage during transport. This also effectively isolates the product from air moisture, preventing moisture absorption, clumping, and quality degradation. Liquid fluorides must be stored in corrosion-resistant tanks or sealed containers. Leakage checks and reinforcement should be performed on tank valves and interfaces beforehand to prevent leakage or dripping during bumps or tilting. All goods packaging must clearly display hazard labels, moisture-proof labels, and upward stacking instructions. Inverting or subjecting to heavy pressure is strictly prohibited to ensure the packaging remains intact and compliant throughout the entire process.

During transport, strict adherence to classified and segregated transport regulations is mandatory. Mixing is strictly prohibited to prevent potential chemical reactions. Fluorides must not be transported in the same vehicle as strong acids, strong alkalis, strong oxidizers, or flammable and explosive materials. Different types of fluoride products must be stored separately in designated areas to prevent safety accidents caused by mixing. When loading, goods must be stacked stably and reinforced layer by layer, using straps and cushioning pads to secure their position and prevent tipping, crushing, or collision damage during sudden braking, turning, or bumpy rides. The cargo compartment must be kept dry, well-ventilated, clean, and free of debris, and protected against rain, moisture, and sun. The entire transport process must be sealed to prevent rainwater and dew from penetrating the packaging.

The transport of fluorides must strictly comply with regulations for the transport of hazardous chemicals, ensuring compliance with personnel, vehicle, and emergency control requirements. Transport vehicles must possess hazardous chemical transport qualifications, be in good condition, and equipped with complete fire prevention, leak-proof, and emergency protection equipment. Unqualified vehicles are strictly prohibited from operating on the road. Drivers and escorts must be certified and familiar with the hazardous properties of fluorides and emergency response methods. During transport, avoid high-temperature, sun-exposed areas and densely populated areas, and refrain from arbitrary stops or prolonged stays. Maintain accurate transport records throughout the process, clearly specifying the batch, quantity, transport route, and responsible personnel. If any emergencies such as packaging damage or cargo leakage occur during transportation, the site must be isolated and properly cleaned and disposed of in a timely manner to avoid corrosion, pollution, and injury to personnel.
